Covering clinicians can be contacted if you are unable to request a consultation session while I’m on vacation or, in an unlikely scenario, to ensure my well-being and/or get more resources should something happen to me. They should NOT by contacted in a crisis in place of the resources listed. Thank you for respecting my colleagues’ time and information.

Please consider these resources to either (a) manage your emotional state on your own, or (b) contact a professional organization that focuses on basic resource and skills sharing without emphasis of emergency intervention (such as hospitalization):
There are various resources to support you in building a personalized crisis plan at The Icarus Project Crisis Toolkit resource page
For LGBTQIA+/queer-specific support: call the Trans Lifeline/Hotline at 877-565-8860 (anonymous queer peer-operated, no emergency services intervention; good for a crisis or if simply questioning your identity)
For non-queer-specific support: find a local warmline in your area, which emphasizes peer support and resource sharing in place of emergency services intervention
Consider going on a walk, listening to music, napping, stretching & breathing intentionally, or calling a trusted friend.
Let me know during an upcoming session if you want help making a more personalized and in-depth plan for how you can help yourself in the moment of a crisis.

Please consult these resources if you need an immediate in-person evaluation or support that could lead to a mental health hospitalization:
For locals to the Greater Boston Area: Call the Boston Emergency Services Team (B.E.S.T.) at 800-981-4357.
For those located anywhere in the U.S.A.: Call or text 988 or visit the nationally-available 988 Lifeline website for more information: https://988lifeline.org/
If you go to the hospital, you may want to let your emergency contact or another trusted person know and bring essential gear to help you stay comfortable in case of an overnight stay. If you are an existing client, you may also choose to leave me a message letting me know what happened and giving me permission to consult with your emergency provider team (if desired).
